Watch Part One of Our Black History Month Community Conversations

Dear students, staff, and families,

In honor of Black History Month, Revere Public Schools has facilitated a series of community conversations with school leaders, students, teachers, and caregivers.

The conversations focused on personal growth and professional advancement, obstacles encountered, strategies, dreams and aspirations, and factors of motivation in the face of adversity.

Through this activity, we aim to cultivate trust and confidence in our school leaders, students, teachers, and caregivers, especially those from the BIPOC community, that success is attainable through establishing realistic objectives, exploring new opportunities, hard work, and exemplary leadership.

In our first installment, watch Garfield Elementary Principal Dr. Percy Napier converse with Garfield 5th graders Antonia Falcon and Noah Depina Mejia.

Enjoy!
